Valuation
Project earnings forward and see what return today's price implies.

- EPS in 5 years
- $1.52
- Implied price
- $36.45
- Return from $31.39
- 3.0% a year
To earn 15.0% a year on these assumptions you'd need to buy at $18.12 — -42.3% below today's price.
How sensitive is that answer?
Annual return across nearby assumptions. If the result is only attractive in one corner, that is the finding.
| growth \ P/E | 16 | 20 | 24 | 28 | 32 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| -6.8% | -14.2% | -10.3% | -6.9% | -4.0% | -1.4% |
| -1.8% | -9.6% | -5.5% | -2.0% | 1.1% | 3.8% |
| 3.2% | -5.0% | -0.7% | 3.0% | 6.3% | 9.1% |
| 8.2% | -0.4% | 4.2% | 8.0% | 11.4% | 14.4% |
| 13.2% | 4.2% | 9.0% | 13.0% | 16.6% | 19.7% |
This is arithmetic on assumptions you chose, not a forecast or a recommendation. It ignores dividends, buybacks, share issuance and debt, and it assumes a company still earning money in 5 years. Change any input and the answer changes a lot — that sensitivity is the honest result, not a flaw in the model.
