Valuation
Project earnings forward and see what return today's price implies.
Seeded from MC's reported EPS growth of -2.9% a year over 13 years.
- EPS in 5 years
- $2.68
- Implied price
- $58.98
- Return from $56.32
- 0.9% a year
To earn 15.0% a year on these assumptions you'd need to buy at $29.32 — -47.9% below today's price.
How sensitive is that answer?
Annual return across nearby assumptions. If the result is only attractive in one corner, that is the finding.
| growth \ P/E | 16 | 19 | 22 | 25 | 28 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| -12.9% | -15.1% | -12.1% | -9.5% | -7.1% | -5.0% |
| -7.9% | -10.2% | -7.0% | -4.3% | -1.8% | 0.5% |
| -2.9% | -5.3% | -2.0% | 0.9% | 3.5% | 5.9% |
| 2.1% | -0.4% | 3.1% | 6.1% | 8.9% | 11.4% |
| 7.1% | 4.5% | 8.1% | 11.3% | 14.2% | 16.8% |
This is arithmetic on assumptions you chose, not a forecast or a recommendation. It ignores dividends, buybacks, share issuance and debt, and it assumes a company still earning money in 5 years. Change any input and the answer changes a lot — that sensitivity is the honest result, not a flaw in the model.

>>62745588 Of course I know that, MC isn't going anywhere, just kinda feels weird to invest into something that been steadily going only down ,to the point it's current value is even below their 5 year old value of 250.

>>62743129 Rambus MC is probably the first milestone goal since they're quite alike in history and modus operandi. But nlst already has like 3x their revenue so the goal price should be substantially higher than them and that just based on licensing alone, not including memory production which is a whole other ball game these days

>>62708389 >2 and 3 are opinions If it takes 5,000 years of full Swift volume to capture 1% of total XRP supply as fees, that will not pump XRP. If the current MC is enough to cover full Swift volume dozens of times over, that will not pump XRP. These are facts, not opinions.

On all these other chains, there's memecoins that are paired against stocks or other coins with a tax that is distributed to holders. On the XRPL that s*** is not even possible. Flarecat on FLR has the same flywheel, you get paid for holding XRP. I already earned like 170 XRP in 9 days just for holding. It's only sitting at a 200K MC. If the volume goes up, you will be earning even more. Zcat on Solana paid in 1 week like $2.8M in ZEC to it's holders.

>>62706323 >the XRP needed for bridging is infinitely recyclable. bridging is not treasury/balance sheet Evernorth for example is a long term corporate treasury >MC is more like 60x higher than needed to handle all of Swift's current volume. MC is just a calculation, it has no relevance in this discussion 1.2 T is wild however, very good very nice

…XRP to fulfill all of Swift's volume. But here's the worst part: Schwartz has said that XRP's entire uncirculating supply is also "circulating". That means Ripple's MC is actually more than $1.2 trillion. So at XRP's current price, the actual MC is more like 60x higher than needed to handle all of Swift's current volume.

>>62706286 Let's talk about the bridge currency thing then. Swift's monetary volume is roughly the world's GDP every three days. An XRP bridge currency transaction takes about 5 seconds, so let's divide Swift's volume into 5-second intervals: $2-3 billion. XRP's current MC is around $90 billion. So even if XRP were used as the de facto bridge currency for all of Swift's monetary volume, the current market cap is technically around 40x higher than needed.

>>62662774 And they got greedy. Don't know why I can't finish a sentence nowadays. >>62662386 That's what I've been saying. Pons was at 200m when I started posting in this thread. RH is now eclipsing SOL, if the pump guys don't do a massive airdrop which they owe to people this will at the bare minimum go to pumps current MC. 500m for the premier chains launchpad is still cheap. 260m for cashcat and AI are also cheap for the biggest meme of the chain. No one HAS to gamble on s*******

>>62658656 insane volume right now. Long story short vlad replied to the amc guy who said tokenized stocks were bad. Now they are trying to crime a coin called MEME tied to AMC to flip amc. I missed it, but millionares were minted in the span of an hour. It's currently sucking up all liquidity on chain. 200k MC ->145M MC in the span of a few hours and rising. It's honestly unreal.

>>62642547 I got banned for a few days for posting about Troll last year, I bought also at around 15m market cap and ended up making 100k on that trade. Crypto is a new 'technology' if you can call it that so why is posting about the latest tech all saar >>62642550 yes the PONS flywheel is insane. …elic like LINK/ICP/AVAX/XRP. But if you are still midwit after 3 cycles then that is on you. Also in case you haven't figured it out by now. Buying a s******* at 10m MC is a lot safer than at 100k. 100k can go to 0 in one candle. Sub 10-20m coins like tendies have survived long enough to have a solid holder base.

>>62553120 No way, polkadot is now 1/5th of monero MC? Insane how far it's fallen. I used to think it was interesting back when it was in the top 10 coins right behind Solana or so. Surprised at how f****** dead it is honestly, I didn't think it was that bad as far as mainstream normiechains go.

>>62594632 >>62594647 P/E ratios are universally inflated because they've put pensions into S&P index funds. Still, some ratios are absurd. You should hedge against this, as well as monetary debasement separately, with hard assets like gold. Good tsunderes only pay attention to resourceful, affluent MC losers who at least have a plan.

>>62577624 I think you obviously know that operating as a transient transfer asset is not network integration. You could easily and immediately remove that step with no change to operation, which in fact has been the case before. Network use consistently drives value - it provides a buffer with increasing circulating supply as it corresponds to increasing demand. Many projects with better integration haven't seen that enormous gulf between MC and value as we have. Plus that's part of what feed

>>62577603 That's not changing any goalposts, it serves literally zero actual function - as said they could use clubcard points for all they wanted. It's a completely unnecessary non-functioning step. As for how we know nodes are just insta-converting back to something useful: we know there's basically complete toe-khen velocity due to value in no way tracking increased network use. The market cap has risen with the market cycles whilst link value falls. As said nodes are primarily paid from t
