Tekcapital shares fall over 15% after £550,000 placing at 22% discount Shares in Tekcapital PLC (LSE:TEK), the intellectual property investment group, fell over 15% to 2.45p on Tuesday after it sold new shares at 2.25p, well below Monday's close, to raise funds. Tekcapital issued 24 milion new shares, equal to about 9% of its enlarged share capital, raising £550,000, equivalent to US$730,000, before expenses.

Tekcapital portfolio companies advancing in robotics and AI Tekcapital PLC (LSE:TEK) said portfolio company Guident has secured a 36-month robotic monitoring agreement with Coastal Waste & Recycling, marking another step in its shift from pilot projects towards longer-term commercial deployments. The expanded agreement will see Guident deploy WatchBot autonomous inspection robots, its AI-powered software platform and ongoing operational support across Coastal operations.
