…months active. NTSD 40% MQQQ 30% WX 30% To translate those obscure tickers to stuff that's more well known. It's 40% [0.90 SPY + 0.60 VEA] + 30% [2x QQQ] + 30% [2x VT] = 180% = 1.8x NTSD is the foundation. It's a very smooth ride for being 1.5x. 60% VEA smooths out the volatility from the 90% SPY. NTSD is surprisingly smooth, and about the same volatility as QQQ. NTSD is quarterly reset as well, so the drag is minuscule. MQQQ, 2x QQQ, is the growth engine, and it can be a wild ride, but at 30…

>>62582583 Do you even understand what happened to bonds in 2022, or are you suggesting this fund is uniquely bad? Imagine for a moment, replacing that ticker with VT, and suggesting no one should buy it because global equities collapsed in 2022 and haven't recovered. You buy shit when it's cheap, not when it's up 800% as /smg/ is prone to do.

>>62582443 >50% SGOV Unless this is dry powder and a temporary position as you wait for a better entry. No. Short term treasurys aren't even outdoing inflation Do 60% VT and 40% BNDW >I want to hold lots of cash because I am a paper hand. Or 50% VT, 40% BNDW and 10% IAUM But bonds are shit. And you still have interest rate risk like what happend in 2022 unless you're short term bonds, but short trm bonds aren't even worth it. Try this out 50% VT, 30% SCHD and SCHY (pick your global allocation

Would 50% VT / 50% SGOV be better or 20% VT / 20% AVGV / 40% SGOV / 20% GLDM be better? I want to hold lots of cash because I am a paper hand.

Here's my portfolio. It's simple. NTSD 40% MQQQ 30% WX 30% with WX, it's a 2x VT, but because it's so new it's hard to get a read on the drag with only like a month of history. There's another ETF just like it, that's 2x VT called WLDU, and it has horrific drag of like 8%. It's new as well, but is a few months old vs 1 month for WX. WX has significantly lower drag than WLDU so far. That doesn't mean it's going to remain that way, just, over the last month WX has lost 5% to drag, is 8% for WLD

>>62577659 >buy into the current trend >buy the dip >cash out >funnel the modest gains back into indexslop It seems to be working ok so far. Not sure if this actually beats just DCA'ing directly into VT. Oh well.

>>62576644 Diversified leveraged ETFs are a great idea Most leveraged ETFs have extreme concentration risks, in addition to leverage risks, amongst other risks. Leverage VT and guess what? The only risk is the leverage. That's not bad odds

Earlier today, I told people about this new ETF 2x VT I don't know the drag. It hasn't been around long enough, but the fees are only 20 bps

My portfolio now with the new x2 VT ETF: >40% NTSD (1.5x VOO+VEA) >30% MQQQ (2x QQQ) >30% WX (2x VT) for a total of 1.7x leverage NTSD is the base, to give the portfolio some stability, and smooth out the short term leveraged volatity. MQQQ is monthly reset low drag 2x QQQ. It's the growth engine to accelerate returns for the portfolio. WX is there provide global diversification because there's always somewhere in the world that's growing. WX won't exactly be a smooth ride, but it should be smo

>>62575459 There's another 2x VT ETF called WLDU but the drag is horrendous so far. It's a few months old, and has had like 7% losses to drag.

New ETF dropped 2x VT, 20 bps fee I was using NTSD, but going to mix this one in now.

>>62571417 AVGE and VT are 96% correlated, making it pointless to own both. I would just make VT your nest egg because of the high diversification, low fees, and great dividends. If you want some risk, the QQQM strategy was better.

>>62569901 VT and similar are super tech/AI heavy nowadays if you dig into it (like 30% but well over 40% if you add tech-adjacent stuff and industrials that are part of the AI trade). You are heavier than that in theory, but big movements on tech still ripple into other sectors so the difference between a 40% mix and 60% mix is likely not going to be that big. In any case, your blend over time is probably going to beat 99% of porfolios ITT either way kek. Whether it is worth the effort and adde

>>62569882 Yeah, I agree with you if I were using broad market ETFs, but my equities are concentrated into tech, momentum (which is usually tech), and a few AI growth thematics (which is tech). 60% of the equities are tech. That's not going to track VT or SP500.
