XTN: Transportation Likely To Lag Into 2027 Amid Macro Pressures And Factor Weaknesses I initiate coverage of the State Street SPDR S&P Transportation ETF with a Hold rating. I believe XTN will underperform IVV into 2027 as higher fuel prices and higher financing costs erode transportation names' fundamentals and weigh on investor sentiment. While having a value tilt, the fund does not offer any edge over IVV and XLI on the earnings resilience, GARP, and quality fronts.
